Six Great Ways To Come Up With Wedding Reception Centerpieces

Are you having a hard time trying to come up with your wedding reception centerpieces?  Let’s start with putting your ideas into three categories:  I love, I hate, my last resort.

So, those wedding reception centerpieces that are in your “I Hate” category will be tossed out immediately.  This just serves as the preliminary round of refection, but I’m sure that you will still be left with at least a few of ideas.  Don’t worry though, when you are finished with this sequence you are going to be left with nothing but the best.
1.  Budget!  What is the most money you are willing to spend?  Make sure you are totally honest with yourself.  Setting this limit is going to allow you to get rid of wedding reception centerpieces just based on cost.

2.  Size!  You are also going to want to pick the wedding reception centerpieces according to their size.  You are going to need to know how big your tables and plates are going to be.  You also need to know how many people are going to sit at each table.

3.  Suitability!  The draft of wedding reception centerpieces can be whittled down according to the suitability of the wedding reception venue.  Is the reception going to be outdoors?  If it’s going to be hot and sunny then ice sculptures are going to be out.

4.  Theme!  Here is an additional way to weed out other wedding reception centerpieces you still have to choose from.  Do they complement the wedding motif or theme and do they go along with all your other wedding decorations?  Think of having a Hawaiian themed wedding reception and you only have those elegant aromatherapy candles on each table.  Really doesn’t go, does it?

5.  Safety!  You want to pick your wedding reception centerpieces according to each of their safety levels too.  If there are going to be a lot of young children attending then you want them all to be child friendly.  There are many centerpieces you can choose for when young children are around.

6.  Professionals!  You may want to seek out the suggestions of the professionals when it comes to your wedding reception centerpieces.  You may want to consult relatives, friends and family whose taste you trust.  Also be sure to ask your fiancée as this is their wedding too!  Sure, he may be the usual color blind male, but it’s still important to have his input.  But in the end it’s only your decision that matters as you’re the bride!

Good Luck!
