So staying with the idea of candles for your wedding decorations, you could use an attractive bowl in a color to suit your overall wedding theme, then fill it with water and float candles in it as a super table decoration for your wedding tables. Alternatively go for a clear or pale color for the bowl and use brighter colors for the candles that you float in it. Candles are so versatile, they can be used very creatively just by having holders that are different heights. You could also incorporate many types and sizes of candles in various candleholders for a very eye catching display.
Another option to keep your wedding decorating on a budget is to make some of the wedding decorations yourself. For instance you could make centerpieces and decorations for the reception by using fabrics, candles and other pretty decorations. How about using flowers? If you are getting married when flowers are growing everywhere in abundance, you could use these in colors that match your theme. If you do not have any flowers growing you could use, how about your family and friends? With just a little bit of creativity and flare you can make some really great looking centerpieces and table decorations with flowers and leaves. Even putting petals on the table can look attractive.
If you plan to hold your wedding outside, then you can use the natural greenery and color of the flowers around you to make your wedding decorating on a budget really work well.
All wedding planning has to be done to a budget, but you can really save money on your wedding decorating by following these suggestions and by making your own wedding favors, centerpieces and floral decorations.
