Your centerpieces should always fit seamlessly with all your other fall wedding decorations.  You will have to consider the amount of space you have, how big the tables are, the theme of the wedding, the colors chosen for the wedding and the budget.  You want them to be the correct size.  Having them either too small or too big just won’t look right.

If you are not paying for your wedding and want exotic posies not in season, by all means, blow someone else’s money.
